Born and bred in Soweto, Pamela Mpanza is an incredible vocalist whose voice conjures up every emotion she sings. At the age of 12, her vocal prowess was already recognizable, gracing primary school assemblies. Her passion for music as an art grew as she progressed through high school and church as a leading vocalist. She was also part of a live band.
She joined The Gauteng legislature choir where she was discovered by Dr THULASIZWE NKABIINDE from SABC CHANNEL AFRICA STATION who introduced her to the music
industry by giving Pamela her very first radio interview and airplay for her single Zazi which inspired her to believe that the limit is beyond the sky.
Her music has an African feel spiced with motivation that appeals to both the young and old. Miss Mpanza believes that every human is unique and should embrace that which makes them stand out from the rest. She has released two singles titled ZAZI (know yourself) and IPHUPHO
Pamela takes her inspiration from the Word of God and spending time in His presence. Pamela looks up to the great African legends who have walked this path, the late Busi Mhlongo, Letta Mbulu, Miriam Makeba, Salif Keita, Khadja Nin, Ringo Madlingozi and the late Oliver Mtukudzi.
